Demarcation of Work (for Final Exam P6 - 1 March 2013)
The exam paper will take the following format:
Section 1: Multiple Choice
The multiple choice section is only 5 marks (/45) and will consist of questions on Speed, Circles, Pie Charts. There isn't really that much that you can study for this so think carefully and try your best to apply everything that you have learnt.
Section 2: Geometry (23/45 marks)
1. Study and practise the section about geometry in your workbooks and textbook.
a) Textbook Chapter 10: page 70 to page 78. (Knowing how to find unknown angles.)
b) Workbook Chapter 10: page 60 to page 69.
c) The important notes about geometry in your notebook.
IMPORTANT: Your answers will be meaningless without REASONS!!
Section 3: Volume (17/45 Marks)
a) Textbook chapter 9: page 50 to page 67
b) Workbook Chapter 9: page 41 to page 59
i) Finding the volume of a container or a shape.
ii) Finding the dimensions of a container eg, a containers length, breadth or height.
iii) Solving problems involving rate.
