Remember this formula triangle!
Remember also that for EVERY word problem you must show:
a.) A Model
b.) Formula
c.) Working out and answer
d.) Answer in a sentence.
* you will get marked for each of these four steps, don't leave any out!!

Circles: Area & Perimeter (pg: 1-34 in Textbook)
Make sure that you know your formulas for both Area and Perimeter.
* DONT get mixed up between the area and perimeter formulas!! Practice practice practice!!
Remember that perimeter is only the length (distance) of the lines on the OUTSIDE of the figure, all added together.
Pie Charts (pg: 35-48 in Textbook)
Make sure you can convert between numbers, fractions and percentages. (eg: 1/5 = 20% = 0.2)
Know that a straight line through a pie chart cuts it in half.
Know that a right angle (90 degree) in a pie chart is equal to a quarter (1/4 or 25%) of the chart.
Make sure that you know your formulas for both Area and Perimeter.
